MEXICO — Marc and Carleen Dupuis of Mexico celebrated 50 years of love and commitment at a surprise party on July 13, given to them by their sons and their spouses at the Mountain View Campground in Dixfield.

Married on July 20, 1963, in Mexico, the couple has lived in the Mexico area for most of their married life, with a short stint in Connecticut early in their marriage. They raised three sons and now have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The celebration was shared by approximately 75 family, friends and well-wishers from as far away as Oklahoma and New York. The decorations reflected the original turquoise colors from their wedding and a pig/turkey roast buffet was served for the luncheon.
