Stephens class reunion canceled

RUMFORD — The Stephens High School Class of 1951 has canceled its 62nd class reunion that was scheduled for Oct. 6 and 7 at 49 Franklin St. due to a small response.

Stephens High Class of 1956

RUMFORD — Stephens High School Class of 1956 luncheon will be held at noon Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Brian’s Bistro (in the old Hotel Harris).

Mexico High Class of 1959

MEXICO — The Mexico High School Class of 1959 is invited to meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the Mexico Chicken Coop.

If the Chicken Coop is not open, then meet at the Route 2 Diner in Rumford Center.

Spouses and significant others are welcome.

RUMFORD — Mexico High School Class of 1964 will hold their monthly lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the River Valley Grill.

Harvest Fair set for Oct. 5

DIXFIELD — Dixfield Congregational Church Harvest Fair will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.

There will be a silent auction, raffles, bake sale and apples, mums and pumpkins for sale.

A breakfast featuring pumpkin Belgian waffles will be served from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Cost is $6.

A “Raise the Flag” benefit bratwurst luncheon will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a cost of $6.

St. Barnabas bake, rummage sale

RUMFORD — A rummage and bake sale will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at St. Barnabas Church, 71 Rumford Ave.
