LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Lewiston Memorial Armory on Dec. 12 were: first, Hope Hughes and Mike Martin; second, Connie St. Pierre and Bob Cielinski; third, Pauline Quimby and Dick Dennis; fourth, Shirley Miller and Roger Charpentier; fifth, George Bussiere and Ed Madden.
The next game will be played at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19. Call the office at 513-3059 for more information.
Christmas Eve service in Turner
TURNER — Everyone is invited to the annual Christmas Eve Service at the First Universalist Church in Turner Center at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24.
There will be singing of Christmas songs by the choir and the congregation with Dr. Larry Catlett at the piano. The children will also join in with the bell ringers and their musical instruments.
Preschool fair at Topsham Library
TOPSHAM — Many local preschools will be at the Topsham Public Library to discuss their programs and offer information from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25.
Learn what makes each preschool unique, and discover what type of program best fits your family. This is a drop-in event, and children are welcome.
