LISBON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Lyndsy Baril of Lisbon and Joseph Turmel of Lewiston.

Miss Baril is the daughter of Marjorie Baril of Norway and Daniel Baril of Lisbon. She is a 2005 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and is currently a nursing student at the University of Southern Maine. She is employed as a CNA.

Mr. Turmel is the son of Thomas and Sherry Turmel of Lewiston. He is a 2005 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 2007 graduate of Central Maine Community College with an associate degree in building construction technology. He is employed with Hebert Construction.

The wedding is planned for July 18 at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Lewiston.
