Masonic supper is Saturday

WILTON — On Saturday, Aug. 16, there will be a public Masonic supper at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Hall at 70 Bryant Road in East Wilton, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., to benefit the building fund.

The menu will be roast pork with gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetables, homemade bread, assorted homemade pies and beverages. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for those under 12.

Howland and Searles reunion Aug. 17

MERCER — The 123rd Howland and Searles reunion will take place Sunday, Aug. 17, at the Mercer Community Center, Route 2.

A potluck-style dinner will be at noon followed by a short meeting and an auction of items donated by everyone attending.

There will also be a detailed family tree available for viewing.

Fundraiser golf on Aug. 23

WILTON — Tyngtown Tee Time will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Wilson Lake Country Club. It benefits the library, Wilton Early Childhood Center, downtown flowers, children’s programs and scholarships.

The scrambles format event is $50 per player, with cart $10 extra. Price includes breakfast, snack and gourmet lunch. Sign up by calling 645-2016.

Non-golfer lunch is $10 per person from noon to 2 p.m. under the tents with live music. Call Trish at 645-4445 to reserve.

There also will be putting contests and raffles open to all.
