LIVERMORE FALLS — Selectmen unanimously voted to set the tax rate at $21.10 per $1,000 of value of property for 2014-15. It is a 30 cent increase over last year’s rate.
It means taxes on a home valued at $100,000 will increase $30.
The rate was set following a special town meeting at which voters approved a $100,000 tax-increment financing district budget.
There will be a $57,409.12 overlay.
Town Manager Kristal Flagg said officials are hoping to get the tax bills out within the next couple of weeks.
The first half of the taxes will be due on Oct. 22 and the second half is due on March 18, she said.
