LIVERMORE FALLS – The engagement of Farrah Lynn Demaray and Daniel Palmer Poirier is cordially announced.
Miss Demaray is the daughter of William and Pamela Demaray of Livermore Falls. She is a 2000 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and received her bachelor’s degree in studio art from the University of Maine at Orono. She is currently an educator at Livermore Elementary School, teaching art classes to children in grades kindergarten through five.
Mr. Poirier is the son of Robert and Liana Poirier of Minot. He is a 2000 graduate of Edward Little High School and received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maine at Orono. He is currently working for Honeywell International in Westbrook.
The couple met in February of 2001 while attending the university. The couple will be married on Oct. 8 at the Baptist Church in Winthrop. A reception will follow at the Senator Inn in Augusta. After the wedding, they will make their new home in the Yarmouth/Gray area.
