LEWISTON – The wedding of Shannon M. Cole and Alexander A. Bacallao was held at 5 p.m. on Dec. 18 at the Bates College Chapel. Richard Coleman, notary, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Bacallao is the daughter of Lois Cole of Auburn and James Cole Jr. of Lewiston. Mr. Bacallao is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rafael Bacallao of Coral Springs, Fla.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory satin and chiffon gown and she carried a bouquet of red roses and stephanotis.
The best friend of the bride, Jill McCarthy, was maid of honor. Another best friend, Kirsten Hart, was matron of honor.
Erik Bacallao performed the duties of best man for his brother and groomsman was James Cole III, brother of the bride.
A reception followed at Bachelder’s Inn in Litchfield.
