LEWISTON – A group of local residents, with support from Lewiston City Councilor Tina Bailey and municipal staff, is working on a fundraiser to purchase additional playground equipment for Kennedy Park.

They are in search of local musicians who would be willing to donate their time and talents for a free concert to be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23. Although a free event, donations will be gratefully accepted and go toward the purchase of playground equipment.

“This is an opportunity for local musicians to showcase their talents and have some fun, all for a good cause,” said Bailey.
