LEWISTON – Weezer, one of the most popular groups to emerge in the post-grunge alternative rock aftermath, will perform July 12 at the Colisee.

Tickets – $31.50 for general admission, all ages – will be sold at the Colisee’s box office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 11, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Colisee is located at 190 Birch St.

Weezer will perform with special guest Spoon beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Weezer’s latest album, “Make Believe,” released May 5 and prepped by the single “Beverly Hills,” has been a hit on alternative rock stations across the country. The album has been a Top 20 Billboard album since its release.
