FARMINGTON — The internal medicine practice of David Rice, MD, in Farmington is pleased to welcome Nancy Cassella, nurse practitioner, at the office at 107 Box Shop Hill.

Cassella is accepting new patients and offering appointments every Friday.

A graduate of the masters of nursing program of Montana State University, Cassella holds an undergraduate degree in nursing from the William Paterson University of New Jersey. She has served Maine as a family nurse practitioner since 2002 and provides care at the UMF Student Health Clinic. Her professional interests include adult cardiology and deaf and hard of hearing care. She is a strong advocate of patient education.

Cassella joins Rice and David Huish, PA-C, in providing adult medical care, Susan Eastler, WHCNP-BC, who provides women’s care, and Penn Whiteside, PMHC-NP, who provides psychiatric services at the practice. The private practice will celebrate its five-year anniversary this summer.
