RUMFORD — Four residents have filed nomination papers for two selectmen positions, according to Town Clerk/Treasurer Beth Bellegarde.
The terms of Brad Adley and Frank DiConzo expire in June. Neither filed papers for re-election.
Those seeking election are Chris Brennick, Steve Dyment, Gabrielle Johnson and James Windover.
Bellegarde said there will be write-ins for single vacancies on the Board of Assessors, now held by Linda French; Regional School Unit 10, now held by Bradley Gallant; and the Finance Committee, now held by Richard Greene. All are three-year terms.
Running unopposed are Beth Bellegarde for clerk/treasurer and Tom Bourret for tax collector/constable. Both are two-year terms.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at the Rumford American Legion Hall.
