A Dixfield driver was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital by NorthStar ambulance after she crashed her Subaru Legacy into the back of a tractor-trailer Monday afternoon. Paul Hinkley of Wilton was attempting to make a left turn onto Main Street from Routes 2 and 4 just before 3 p.m. when Dana Burns, 30, didn’t stop in time, Wilton police officer Derek Daley said. Hinkley was driving the truck for Jarden’s mill and was heading back to the plant, Daley said. Burns was taken to the hospital.
