LEWISTON – State Farm Insurance, 1485 Lisbon St., welcomes Sam Francis as a new agent to the Lewiston-Auburn area. He will assume his duties June 1.

Francis grew up in Mechanic Falls, graduating from Edward Little High School in 1998. He attended the University of Maine at Orono, receiving a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business administration. After college, he worked for State Farm Insurance as a life insurance specialist, then moved to Nashville, Tenn., for a job with Dell Computers. Two years ago he returned to Maine to work as an agency field specialist in the Portland office for State Farm Insurance in preparation for his appointment in Lewiston.
