HARRISON – The Western Maine Board of Realtors, in conjunction with Highland Mortgage, The Mortgage Network and Norway Savings Bank, will be offering a free information workshop from 9 to 11 a.m. May 16, at the Olde Mill Tavern in Harrison. Anyone interested in buying or selling a home is welcome to attend.

There will be information about the mortgage process, what types of loans are available, explanation of the $8,000 tax credit, information on foreclosures and short sales and a panel discussion with a question and answer period. Light refreshments will be available and there will be drawings for gas cards and Hannaford gift cards. Registration is encouraged but walk-ins are welcome.
