PORTLAND (AP) – Stonewall Kitchen has recalled five dessert sauces because of possible contamination with botulism, a potentially fatal form of food poisoning.
Spokeswoman Laura Duncan said the specialty food producer in York detected the problem during a routine review and there have been no complaints or reports of illness.
The recalled products are Stonewall Kitchen Chocolate Hazelnut Sauce, Stonewall Kitchen Chocolate Peanut Butter Sauce, Stonewall Kitchen Coffee Caramel Sauce, Stonewall Kitchen Dulce de Leche Sauce and Barefoot Contessa Expresso Dulce de Leche.
Customers are asked to bring the recalled products to the place of purchase for a refund.
