RUMFORD – The River Valley Technology Center, the River Valley Growth Council and the River Valley Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring a lunch seminar on “Identifying Your Target Market” to be presented by Greg Gould.

Gould is a certified business counselor in the Auburn office of the Maine Small Business Development Center hosted by the Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and a master’s degree in business administration.

Participants will learn about sustainable competitive advantages; how and where to do market research; effective advertising strategies; and how to be more appealing to customers.

The seminar will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, at the River Valley Technology Center on 60 Lowell St.

The cost is $10 and includes lunch. River Valley Chamber of Commerce members pay $8. Prepayment is required; there will be no refunds. Preregistration is required by contacting Beverly at 369-0396 or e-mail [email protected] by March 13.
