RANGELEY – Selectmen will hold a special run-off election between two candidates seeking one selectman’s term on Monday, Aug. 4.

Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the town office.

A recount after the June 10 vote determined that incumbent Selectman Robert Welch and opponent Gary Shaffer were tied with 136 votes. Initial results were Welch, 136, and Shaffer, 135.
