HARTFORD, Conn. – Joseph C. Bellegarde, 84, of Enfield, Conn., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Jan. 28, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born on Jan. 14, 1922, in St. Ludger, Canada, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Delima (Baillargeon) Bellegarde.

A loving brother, brother-in-law and uncle, Joseph is survived by his three sisters, Colette Poulin of Falmouth, Yvonne Thibodeau and her husband, Maurice “Bud,” of South Windsor, Conn., and Raymonde Garrity and her husband, Jack, of Hernando, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation and a rosary prayer service were held at the St. Joseph’s Residence in Connecticut on Sunday, Jan. 28.
