PARIS — Celebration Barn Theater will present two shows June 24-25, including its first family matinee of the season.
Tricky Britches will bring its unique culmination of country, contradance, bluegrass, and rock at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 24. Formed in 2009, the four friends from Portland took their fiddle tunes and country songs on the road across the U.S.
On Sunday, June 25, at 2 p.m., puppeteer Faye Dupras will present “I Spy Butterfly,” a show suited for ages 3-10, followed by a butterfly puppet-making workshop. Live music, colorful critters, and oodles of audience interaction are part of this ecological romp in the wild.
Dupras is an award winning master puppeteer. Trained as a theater artist and visual artist, puppetry is the medium that allows her to scratch at her creative curiosity, stretch her artistic wings, and explore questions about our collective humanity.
Tickets to Tricky Britches are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors (60 years and older), and $8 for children 17 and younger.
