LEWISTON – Frances L. Signer, 94, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, in Lewiston.

She was born on May 18, 1920, in Watervliet, N.Y., the daughter of Charles and Anna Doring. She married George E. Signer and he died Oct. 26, 1986.

Frances graduated from Albany Business College New York. She was employed by City and County Savings Bank, as teller and auditor.

Francis is survived by a son, Robert E. Signer and his wife, Judith D., of Greene; grandchildren, Anthony and Jacob Signer, both of Greene, Mark Signer of Rockaway, N.J., Keven Signer of Manchester, N.H., and Stephen Signer of Manchester, N.H.; and seven great-grandchildren.
