MINOT — Richard B. Bryant, 73, of Minot, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 24, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born in Mechanic Falls on Nov. 2, 1943, the son of Harold and Elsie Knight Bryant. He graduated from Mechanic Falls High School and had worked for Central Maine Power for 46 years as a lineman.
He married Nancy Fillion on Sept. 3, 1998. He enjoyed puttering around the house, doing his woodwork and working in his garage. He loved to build things, he knew how to do everything. He was a “jack of all trades.” He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of Minot; his children, Randall Bryant of Whitefield, Russell Bryant and his companion, Shelly Bouchard of Lewiston, Reilly Bryant and his companion, Jessica Berube of Mechanic Falls, Gary Hanning and his wife, Jo-Ann of Lisbon, Staci Riccio and her husband, Scott of Auburn and Kari Chretien and her husband, Bert of Turner; ten grandchildren; and a brother, Jay Bryant and his wife, Penny of Mechanic Falls.
He was predeceased by a brother, Lloyd Bryant.
