1917 – 2003
Lewiston – Lucien V. Langlois, 86, formerly of Barron Ave., died Friday, July 4, at Marshwood Health Care Center where he resided for the past 4-1/2 years.
Born in St. Narcisse, P.Q., on June 6, 1917, a son of Ovila and Marie Duclos Langlois, he was educated in Canadian and Lewiston schools.
He was married to Florida Poulin, who died in 1964. He later married the former Louise C. Caron on March 6, 1965. She died Oct. 17, 1998.
He was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul’s Parish and Montagnard Social Club. He worked as a truck driver for Roy Bros. and Sanborn Expresss, retiring in 1968.
He is survived by two sisters, Eva Galipeau of Lewiston, and Rose Anna Harlow of North Waterboro; two brothers, Alfred Langlois and his wife Yvette of St. Lambert, P.Q., and Roger Langlois and his wife Therese of Lewiston; a sister-in-law, Marguerite Langlois of Lewiston; and serveral nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Odias Langlois.
