WEST PARIS – Wilfred J. Thibodeau, 82, of Middle Avenue in Mexico, died Thursday, May 6, at Ledgeview Living Center.
He was born in West Stewartstown, N.H., on Jan. 15, 1922, a son of Philip and Eva (Moelleur) Thibodeau.
He attended St. Theresa’s School and Mexico High School.
He was employed as a painter for the Mexico School Department.
He was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are a sister, Irene F. Thibodeau of Mexico; a sister-in-law, Alice Thibodeau of Canton, Ohio; three nephews, David, Vincent and Phil Thibodeau; one niece, Denise Schmidtberger.
He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Elphege Thibodeau; and a sister, Theresa Thibodeau.
