AUBURN – Michael J. Parise, 51, of Abbot, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 19, at Hospice House.

He was born Dec. 10, 1954, in Lewiston, the son of Joseph P. and Jeannette (Hamel) Parise.

He attended Garcelon School, Madison Street School, Social Learning Center and Charlotte White Center.

He enjoyed reading his books, playing Nintendo, making puzzles, singing, dancing, playing with his great-nieces and nephews, and dining out with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Jeannette Parise of Auburn; two sisters, Joan and her husband, Ray Guerin, of Abbot and Linda and her husband, Carl Harrington, of Livermore; two nephews, Chris Guerin of Monmouth and Devin Harrington of Livermore; two nieces, Amanda Labonte of Lewiston and Cindy VerColen of Massachusetts; great-nieces, Ashlee Labonte of Lewiston, Morgan and MacKenzie Guerin of Monmouth; and great-nephews, Jake and Alex VerColen of Massachusetts.

He was predeceased by his father, Joseph P. Parise of Lewiston.
