I am in the 7th grade at Mount Blue Middle School. The administration is thinking of cutting home economics and health classes. I think there are many things that students here learn in those classes.
In health class, we learn that, at this time in our lives, sex is inappropriate and has consequences. We also learn about drug prevention and what drugs can do to our bodies.
In home economics, we learn how to sew and cook, and how to take care of our bodies by learning nutrition facts.
Students at Mount Blue Middle School would like to keep those classes, in order to learn about many different things that can help us later in life.
