I am writing in response to the tragic deaths of the nine firefighters from South Carolina. How terribly sad.

If this incident doesn’t wake the public to the dedication of those brave men (and women), nothing ever will.

How many people are ready to put their lives on the line to protect others, as the firemen and policemen do?

I offer my thanks to them for all they do.

I have a suggestion. Whenever people see a firefighter or policeman, say thank you.
