We support Lois Snowe-Mello to be our state senator for District 15 and will vote for her on Nov. 2.

Lois has been our state representative for eight years and during her service, she has worked hard to lower taxes for senior citizens and for all Maine’s people by sponsoring legislation. One piece of legislation was a moratorium on taxes for one week on the state sales tax on clothing.

Lois understands how difficult it is for elder care and nursing homes. She understands how difficult it is for seniors to live within their means or fixed income.

Lois, this past term, sponsored legislation that would have lowered the cost of health insurance for the people of Maine. We support Lois for state senate because she lives by her motto, “Listen and help and lead.”
