I am writing in support of Marge Medd’s candidacy for State Senate District 13. I have known Marge since she moved to the Oxford Hills area in the early 1970s, where she and her husband raised their three children who all attended local schools.

Marge has always been active in church and community affairs as well as an avid supporter of athletics.

She has served in various positions where she has demonstrated her ability and caring for her fellow man, as well as her belief that education is the way and means to success.

She has served on St. Catherine’s Parish Council, Kiwanis, on the SAD 17 School Board and on the Maine State Board of Education. She has been instrumental in the creation of Western Maine University and Community College.

Marge will be a committed and competent representative and that is why I support her in the upcoming election.
