I have lived here for 18 years. I know in the ’80s people used to drink in public. OK.

So, in 1992 there was no drinking and Kennedy Park was looking OK. The city workers were picking up the park, but then it stopped.

I still go in the park, but I don’t usually go in the middle where the flag hangs up.

One day I went through there, and I couldn’t believe what I saw. There was trash everywhere, so much you can see it in the dark.
