INDIANAPOLIS, In.- Two Mainers earned high marks at the USATF Junior National Track and Field Championships held last week.
Sara Adams, Lisbon High School standout, finished second with a time of 19:18.9 for the 10,000 event.
Finishing In third place was Emily Reed, an incoming freshman at Mt. Blue High School at Farmington with a clocking of 19:26.6.
Northeast High School graduating senior Diana Rado of Philadelphia, Pa., won the event with a time of 16:19.8.
Both Adams and Reed will be battling Edward Little’s Christie Bernier for top honors in the Maine high school racewalking arena next spring.
