AUBURN – Debbie Williamson of North Auburn cycled her way to three second-place finishes and a third in her age category at the National Senior Games held recently near Pittsburg, Pa.

Williamson finished the 5k time trial one minute behind the winner, then garnered a silver medal in the 10k with a performance just 30 seconds off the winner’s time. In the 20k road race, she was out-sprinted at the finish by a cyclist from Ohio. And in the grueling 40k road race, she battled fatigue and extreme heat to finish third and win the bronze.
