THOMASTON – Liz Leblanc scored three goals and assisted on a fourth to lead unbeaten Jay to an easy 5-0 victory over Georges Valley.

The Tigers (5-0) prevented Georges Valley from firing a shot on goal. Kelsea Beisaw and Bri Pottle also scored for Jay. Ciera Smalley made 15 saves for the Bucs (3-4).

St. Dom’s 1, NYA 0

AUBURN – Taylor Tarr scored the game’s only goal to lift St. Dom’s to a 1-0 victory over North Yarmouth.

Mary Lewis set up the scoring play with a cross that Tarr one-timed into the net with 5:13 left to play. Kelsey Murphy swept aside 14 shots for the shutout, while Haley Bright had 11 saves.

Oak Hill 3, Lincoln 1

WALES – Ashley Paradise scored a pair of goals as Oak Hill pulled away for a 3-1 victory over Lincoln.

Lincoln (0-5) took a 1-0 halftime lead on Caitlin Cummings’ goal. Becca Tucci also scored for Oak Hill (3-4). Sara Lacroix stopped five shots for the Raiders. Ari Clifford made 25 saves for Lincoln.

Leavitt 7, Erskine 1

TURNER – Courtney Erskine recorded a hat trick as Leavitt buzzed to a 7-1 victory over Erskine Academy in KVAC field hockey action Saturday afternoon.

The Hornets (4-1-1) went on the attack right out of the nest, scoring four goals before the Eagles (2-4) responded at the 8:21 mark. Meghan Kothman collected the lone Erskine goal.

Jennifer Valley contributed a pair of goals for Leavitt in the winning effort.

Edward Little 3, Brewer 1

AUBURN – Josie Lahey scored a pair of unassisted goals to lead Edward Little to a 3-1 victory over Brewer.

Lahey’s second goal came on a penalty stroke to give the Red Eddies (2-3-2) a 2-0 lead at the half. Emily Ranucci also scored for EL. Emily Fraser scored the lone goal for the Witches (3-3).

Kayla Cummings had five saves for EL.

Lawrence 3, Oxford Hills 0

FAIRFIELD – Lawrence limited Oxford Hills to one shot on goal in a 3-0 victory over the Vikings.

Molly Cooper, Jessica Bellefleur and Brandy Armour scored for the Bulldogs. Moriah Kimbal made 10 saves for the Vikings (0-4-2).

Mt. Blue 4, Lewiston 1

LEWISTON – Liz Leclair and Johanna Laplante scored two goals each to lead Mt. Blue to a 4-1 victory over Lewiston.

Carly Denis scored the lone goal for Lewiston (0-5). Sam Thibault made five saves in goal. Emily Craig had eight saves for Mt. Blue.

Soccer

Mountain Valley 2, Wiscasset 2

RUMFORD – Mountain Valley outshot Wiscasset 14-3, but was forced to settle for a 2-2 tie.

Ellen Thorne and McKenzie Parr scored in the second half for the Falcons (1-3-2), while Tia White added an assist. Scoring for Wiscasset (2-3-1) were Haley Grant and Abby Foster. Breanna Roberts and Krista Lee shared goal duties for the Falcons.

Leavitt 2, Oxford Hills 0

TURNER – Freshman Danielle Dubois stopped nine shots to earn her first varsity shutout as Leavitt topped Oxford Hills 2-0

Hailee Mulherin deflected the ball past Oxford Hills keeper Bre Martin in the first half on a clearing attempt to put the Hornets (1-4) in front, and Kendra Ray finished things off in the second on a feed from Tori Zupancic. Martin finished with 10 saves for the Vikings (0-5).

Winthrop 5, Dirigo 2

DIXFIELD – Lindsey Gordon and Karen Rice scored a pair of goals each to lead Winthrop to a 5-2 victory over Dirigo in MVC girls’ soccer action Saturday.

The Cougars (2-4) took a 2-1 lead in the first half behind goals from Kristen Harvey and Jazmine Brooks, but came up empty in the second stanza.

Goalie Anna Smithgall made 13 saves for the Ramblers (4-2), while Lanette Bryant made 9 saves for Dirigo in the losing effort.

St. Dom’s 2, Gray-New Gloucester 1

AUBURN- Sophie Goulet and Maggie Gamble scored for St. Dom’s in a 2-1 victory over Gray-New Gloucester. Kassie Wilson scored for the Patriots.

Jay/Livermore Falls 1, Hall-Dale 1

JAY – After a pair of double overtimes, Jay/Livermore and Hall-Dale could not settle their differences as the teams played to a 1-1 tie in a girls’ soccer game Saturday.

The Bulldogs (3-2-1) got an unassisted goal from Carylanne Wolfington. For the Wildcats (1-2-2), Beth Moore took a feed from Hillary Deane and scored.

Hall-Dale held the advantage in shots on net and penalty corners at 25-18 and 4-3, respectively.
