John and Debra Towle

BETHEL — The wedding of Debra Catherine Dolloff and John “Chip” Norman Towle was held at 6:30 p.m. on May 15 at the Bethel Inn Conference Center in Bethel. Ellie Andrews officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Towle is the daughter of David and Suzanne Litalien of Mexico, Mr. Towle is the son of Norman “Butch” and Donna Towle of Dixfield.

The bride, given in marriage by her father and daughters, Hillary and Brooke, wore a crinkle chiffon A-line ivory gown with beaded embroidery, empire waist and sweep train. She carried a bouquet of daisies, yellow roses, delphiniums and the “Towle Wedding” ivy.

Mechell LaPointe Smith, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Darcy Richard, sister of the bride, Joni Vickery, sister of the bridegroom, and Hillary and Brooke Dolloff, daughters of the bride.

Michael Cady, friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. Ushers were Ronald Austin and David Shepard, friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Bethel Inn Conference Center, after which the couple traveled to Las Vegas. They are residing in Dixfield.

The bride received a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Maine at Orono. She is employed at Dirigo Elementary School for MSAD 21.

The bridegroom received a master’s degree in education from St. Michael’s College and is owner of Towle’s Corner Store.
