Meredith and Jason Baril

KENNEBUNKPORT — The wedding of Meredith Ann Bott and Jason Paul Baril was held at 2:30 p.m. on June 9 at Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport. Dan Forte officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Baril is the daughter of Willis and Carol Bott of Park Ridge, N.J. Mr. Baril is the son of Paul and Nina Baril of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a silk taffeta gown with V-neckline with a dramatic trumpet skirt and a belt embellished with crystals. She carried a bouquet of white roses, white peonies and white anenomes.

A sister of the bride, Jennifer Haraburda, attended as matron of honor. Jill Bruce, friend of the bride, was bridesmaid.

Matthew Harris performed the duties of best man for his friend. Groomsmen were Tom Baril and David Baril, brothers of the bridegroom. Andy Bott, brother of the bride, was usher.

A reception followed at the Nonantum Resort, after which the couple traveled to St. Lucia. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Park Ridge High School in New Jersey and received her bachelor’s degree in animal and veterinary science from the University of Maine at Orono in 2005. She is currently employed as a client service supervisor at Bath-Brunswick Veterinary Associates.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School and received his bachelor’s degree in communications and journalism from the University of Maine at Orono in 2004. He is currently manager of International Door Corporation in Lewiston.
