Kelly and Christopher Grover

LEWISTON — The wedding of Kelly Erin Deschenes and Christopher Clayton Grover was held at 11 a.m. on April 25 at Holy Family Church in Lewiston. The Rev. Nathan March officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Raymond and Mary Deschenes of Lewiston. The bridegroom is the son of Angelika and Roy Player of Crambeck Village, England, and Clayton and Susan Grover Jr. of Pennsylvania.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Kathleen Lacombe, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor and Sarah McMahan, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid. Mattie McMahan, niece of the bridegroom, and Gwendolyn Lacombe, cousin of the bride, were flower girls.

Serving as best man was Benjamin Grover, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsman was Thomas Deschenes, brother of the bride.

A reception followed at Martindale Country Club in Auburn. The couple honeymooned in Florida and are residing in Yarmouth.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2001 graduate of St. Michael’s College with a degree in English. She is currently employed as a financial aid adviser at Andover College in Portland.

The bridegroom graduated from Morse High School in Bath and is a 2001 graduate of St. Michael’s College in Vermont with a degree in political science. He is employed at Bowdoin College in their Alumni Development Office.
