MONMOUTH – Jordan Norton drained 22 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead Mt. Abram to a 62-45 victory over Monmouth.
Mt. Abram stepped out to a 30-18 lead by halftime, then outscored Monmouth by five in the final two quarters to seal the win.
Eric Fields chipped in for the Roadrunners (7-8) with 16 points, while Nate Blake added eight.
The Mustangs (0-15) were led by Kyle Pelletier with 14 points, while Ben Seefeldt tallied 12 and Scott Ogden added nine.
Wiscasset 54, Lisbon 43
LISBON FALLS — Conrad Griffin scored 29 points to lift Wiscasset to a 54-43 triumph over Lisbon in an MVC basketball game Monday.
Jason Dighton added nine points for the Redskins (12-3) in the win.
Levi Ervin paced the Lisbon Greyhounds (7-8) with 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Maranacook 89, Oak Hill 48
READFIELD – Logand Gerrity scored 13 points and Chris Bates added 12 as Maranacook topped Oak Hill 89-48 Tuesday night.
Will Bardaglio added 11 for the Black Bears.
Oak Hill was paced by Mike Eaton with 19 points and Nathan McDonald chipped in with 7.
Livermore Falls 80, Carrabec 36
NORTH ANSON – Brad Bryant drained a game-high 22 points to pace Livermore Falls to a 80-36 romp over Carrabec in a MVC boys’ basketball matchup.
Livermore held a commanding 44-22 advantage at the half and was never seriously challenged.
Levi Armandi chipped in for the Andies (4-11) with 19 points, while Derek Neil added 13.
The Cobras (1-14) were led by Travis Yahn with 11 points, while Tim Therrien contributed with eight.
Dirigo 59, Jay 57
DIXFIELD – Trevis Knapp poured 22 points Tuesday night as Dirigo edged Jay 59-57.
Dirigo built a 32-21 lead by halftime and held a 10-point cushion entering the final quarter before the Tigers rallied down the stretch.
Mike Holmquist chipped in for the Cougars (6-10) with 14 points, while Gary Holman added 13.
Ryan DiPompo led the Tigers (6-10) with 21 points, while Lee Trask and Justin Wells added 12 apiece.
