St. Dom’s 49, Buckfield 19

AUBURN – Malley O’Shea netted 11 points to pace St. Dom’s to a 49-19 romp over Buckfield in girls’ basketball action Monday night. Emily Goss chipped in for the Saints (2-3) with nine points.

Shayna Shackford led the Bucks (0-4) with an 11-point performance, while Desiree Brackett added four. The Saints jumped out to a 21-2 lead at the half and cruised home to the win.

Wiscassett 81, Monmouth 16

WISCASSETT- Wiscassett’s Amanda Davis scored the game-high of 14 points to lift Wiscassett to their 81-16 victory over Monmouth Monday. Davis also hauled down 11 rebounds.

Brittany South and Sarah Whitfield chipped in with 13 points each on behalf of the Redskins (5-1).

Eastgate Christian 37, Pine Tree Academy 20

FREEPORT – Haley Vielleux poured 17 points into the net and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead Eastgate Christian to a 37-20 victory over Pine Tree Academy in a local girls’ basketball matchup. Angie Elvin chipped in for Eastgate (5-0) with nine points in the winning effort.

Brittany Lourder led the way for Pine Tree with a 10-point performance. Eastgate held a 21-6 lead at the half and was never seriously challenged.

Fryeburg 46, Poland 42

POLAND – Lindsey McFarland netted 15 points to lead Fryeburg to a 46-42 win over Poland in girls’ hoops action Monday. Meredith Wheeler chipped in for the Raiders with 13 points, while Carissa Allain added 11.

Sarah Lefebvre led the Knights (0-7) with 12 points on the night, while Meghan ford and Mindy Thomas tallied eight points apiece.
