Billie Rogers of Rangeley, an anthropology and geography major, was one of 14 Coastal Carolina University students who traveled to Trinidad and Tabago for a Wintermester Study Abroad. The students and two faculty members spent their winter break watching and studying preparations for Carnivale in Trinidad, playing and listening to calypso music and attending a Hindu wedding ceremony. The group traveled to the Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tabago. Students were able to get three credit hours for successfully completing one of three courses during the trip. Rogers is seated on the far left, middle row, where they are posing with a couple who were just married in a Hindu wedding ceremony.
