Coach: Jay Keough and Katie Coyne
Last year’s record: 14-11-1
Returning letter-winners: Senior — Emma Vallie (F); Juniors — Sarah Markey (F), Catherine Byrne (D), Natalie Maciejewski (F), Lauren Ratsep (F); Sophomores — Mariah Mosher (G), Chelsea Boucher (D), Ally Stracham (D), Jenna Bosse (D).
Promising newcomers: Senior — Courtney Vallee (D); Juniors — Talya Bent (F), Maggie Lane (F); Sophomore — Kaya de la Isla (F); Freshmen — Emily Wyman (F), Lauran Yomantas (G).
Outlook: Hebron lost only two key seniors from last year, which did account for a lot of the scoring. But the Lumberjacks should be a lot more experienced overall, and should be much better in the defensive zone. Having two solid goalies should make a world of difference and keep that position nice and fresh for February and hopefully into March.
Coach’s commnent:
“This year, the team needs to play like they are a year older and a year more experienced.”
