RUMFORD — The Pennacook Art Center will open a show at the River Valley Technology Center, 60 Lowell St. The River Valley Growth Council and Pennacook invite the public to attend a reception in the center lobby from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, to meet the artists and view the art.

The show features paintings, drawings and photographs by local art professionals. The focus will be on small, lower cost artwork for the holidays, with many under $100. Paintings on slates from the Rumford Public Library roof will also be offered for sale.

The art is for sale through the River Valley Growth Council and a portion of the proceeds will go to support their operations. The exhibit will be hanging until the end of December.
