LEEDS — Phil DiRusso of Freeport has been promoted to wellness works manager at Occupational Medical Consulting LLC of Leeds.

Occupational Medical Consulting is a leading provider of occupational, health and wellness services to businesses in Maine. OMC’s clients have received national recognition awards for their wellness programs and have achieved substantial financial savings by developing a healthy work force.

DiRusso heads up OMC’s workplace wellness programs at 12 client businesses and organizations in Maine. In his new capacity, he will supervise the work of 12 health coaches.

He has worked in health and wellness for the past 10 years in the YMCA system in Maine and Massachusetts, and headed up one of the two wellness teams at OMC prior to his promotion.
