CANTON — David and Jamie Lucas of Farmington are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Alexandra Christine Lucas to Kevin Michael White, son of Joseph and Rebecah White of Rumford, on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the home of the bridegroom in Canton. Pastor Shepard Swain performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father, David Lucas. She wore an ivory strapless gown and carried ivory roses and purple orchids. Her matron of honor was her friend, Amy Roberts and her bridesmaids were Elyse Lucas, sister of the bride, and Bonnie White, sister of the bridegroom.

Groomsmen were Joseph White, brother of the bridegroom, Mark Irving, future brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Michael Porter and Samuel Smith, friends of the bridegroom, and Calan Lucas, brother of the bride. Serving as ring bearer was Isaac White, nephew of the bridegroom.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of Mt. Blue High School and a 2015 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington. She is employed as an ed tech at Rumford Elementary School.

The bridegroom is a 2006 home school graduate and a 2014 graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta. He is employed as an application analyst at Catalyst Paper Mill.

A reception was held at Farmington Baptist Church. The couple enjoyed their honeymoon in Ireland and now reside in Canton.
