North Dakota was 1-for-4 on power play chances. Holy Cross was 0-for-5.

Mike Prpich made it 3-0 at 5:09 in the third period, backhanding into the net after a pass in front of the crease from Ryan Hale.

The Fighting Sioux outshot fourth-seeded Holy Cross 37-21. Quesada finished with 30 saves. North Dakota (30-7-3) will play the winner of the Denver-Miami (Ohio) game in the West Regional championship Saturday night.
