JAY – The Daughters of Isabella Circle 677 of St. Rose of Lima met June 10 with Regent Jackie Castonguay calling the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

The Daughters discussed a baby shower they will hold at the social on Wednesday, June 24. Members should bring a new baby item to the social. It does not need to be wrapped.

Vice Regent Laurie Gagnepain read the list of get well cards sent in May. Castonguay told everyone the baccalaureate went well for both Jay and Livermore Falls seniors and thanked the Daughters who brought in snacks for the party after.

Castonguay reported on the convention she and members had attended and said the circle had won the Crown Award for the good deeds they do throughout the year. Kim Couture was asked to get a frame for the certificate received. Elaine Castonguay won the nut theme basket at the convention.

The annual summer outing will be held Wednesday, Aug. 5, at the VFW. The cost will be $16.50 a person and will include appetizer. meal and dessert. Call Laurie Gagnepain, Laurianne Castonguay, Jackie Castonguay or Shirley Couture with the choice of prime rib or pork loin. It was also voted the social hour will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the meal at 6:30.

The fall bazaar will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the St. Rose Parish Hall.
