PARIS – The Paris Public Library will host a three-week Scrabble tournament beginning Tuesday, June 2.
Limited to eight players, on the first week four pairs will compete. The four winners from week one will compete on Tuesday, June 9, with the two victors of the second week competing for the prize in the final on Tuesday, June 16.
The games will begin at 6:30 p.m. on all three weeks. The tournament will use official Scrabble rules and scoring, with a Scrabble dictionary to settle disputes.
The winner of the tournament will receive a copy of Bananagrams, a fast-paced word game using 144 Scrabble tiles where everyone plays at the same time.
