Open house set
FARMINGTON – The Healthy Community Coalition will host an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, to celebrate their recent move to 105 Mt. Blue Circle, Suite 1, Route 2.
Anyone with an interest in visiting the offices, meeting the staff and finding out more about services is invited.
The coalition provides health promotion and disease prevention programs for residents throughout Greater Franklin County. The new location allows for easier access to the office as well as space to hold program events.

Church lunch
FARMINGTON – A fish chowder lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, at the Fairbanks Union Church. Cost is $7, eat in or take out. For more information or delivery, call 778-4705.
Bean supper
NEW SHARON – A public supper will be held at the New Sharon United Methodist Church Annex from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28.
The menu will include baked beans, corn casseroles, assorted casseroles, chop suey, macaroni and cheese, jelled salads, hot rolls, homemade pies and coffee. The cost is $7 for adults and $2 for children under 12.
The monthly supper is being sponsored by the Woman’s Society of the church, and the proceeds will be used for current expenses.
Benefit supper
JAY – Daughters of Isabella will hold a benefit baked bean supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at St. Rose parish hall.
Movie to air
FARMINGTON – Farmington Baptist Church will present the movie “Fireproof” on the sanctuary big screen at 7 p.m. Friday, March 27, and 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday, March 28.
There will be a follow-up six-week “Fireproof Your Marriage” study at 7 p.m. Fridays, April 10 through May 15. The church is located at 194 Whittier Road.
