Spring semester instructors will be ‘Food for Thought’
LEWISTON – The Senior College “Food for Thought” luncheon program series at USM/Lewiston-Auburn on Friday, March 13, will introduce the spring semester instructors, who will describe their courses and provide opportunity for enrollment at the luncheon.
The new semester offers a schedule of 11 courses over the eight-week period from March 23 to May 15.
Subjects range from history, landscape design, literature, handcrafts and readers’ theatre to Spanish language and film.
Several previous instructors, including Charles Plummer, Dennis Sweetser, Hugh Keene, June Spear and Ralph Tuttle, will be among those presenting new courses.
L-A Senior College, now celebrating its 10th year, presents the monthly noon luncheon program in the Function Room 170 at USM/ L-A. The cost, which includes lunch, is $7 with advance reservation or $8 at the door, opening at 11:30 a.m.
Reservations must be made no later than noon Thursday, March 12, by phone at 753-6510. Any late callers will be considered as “at the door.”
