PARIS – Director of Communications James P. Miclon announced on Jan. 29 that Cammie L. Richardson has been promoted to night shift supervisor effective Jan. 1. Richardson has been employed by the Oxford County Regional Communications Center for four years, Miclon said.
Richardson has proven her ability to perform as an emergency dispatcher exceptionally, and her established leadership sealed her promotion to supervisor, Miclon explained.
Richardson will join three other supervisors at the communications center: Steven R. Cordwell, Terri L. Littlehale and William D. Daniels.
Miclon also noted that all four dispatch supervisors, along with himself, have been attending supervisor training weekly since the first of January. Miclon stated that part of the training is covering personnel matters, policy and procedures and a variety of dispatch emergency situations.
All communications center dispatchers must attend hours of training each year to maintain their state license and to qualify to continue employment at the county 911 center, Miclon said.
