Club speaker

AUBURN – Dr. Paul G. Caron will be the speaker when the Art and Literature Club of Auburn and Lewiston meets at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at the WLU Clubhouse on Elm Street.

Caron received his education in Massachusetts and is a musician, performer and composer. He is teaching math, science and education at the Lewiston-Auburn campus of the University of Southern Maine. He will present a program titled “Math, Music and Memories: An Alliterative Journey.”

Post addresses

SABATTUS – The town of Sabattus has an addressing ordinance requiring that all residences have their assigned number displayed on the front of the residence in the vicinity of the front door, or if the residence is more than 50 feet from the edge of the road, the number should be displayed on a post or mailbox.

The Board of Selectmen is asking residents to post their numbers as this would help the fire department and delivery services.
